How the Service Works:

The most important part of the 8-minute rule to remember is that it only applies to “remainder minutes. ” so, if you provided 35 minutes of manual therapy, you still could only bill for two units. That’s because when you divide 35 minutes by 15 minutes (the length of a full service ), you get two units with a remainder of five minutes. That remainder does not meet the 8-minute threshold for billing an additional unit. If, instead, you had provided 38 minutes of manual therapy, you could bill three units because your remainder of eight would justify billing an additional unit.

Community mental health teams (cmhts) provide multi-disciplinary assessment, treatment and care of individuals with severe and enduring mental health problems. They provide a service to individuals from 18 years of age up to 70 years of age with a diagnosed functional mental health problem, unless the service users’ needs would be best met by the older adults cmht or vice versa. Community mental health teams care for people resident in bolton, salford, trafford and the city of manchester who are suffering from mental illness, typically those who are suffering from schizophrenia, severe affective disorder or a complex personality disorder. This could include people with autism spectrum conditions, whose needs can resemble those of a complex personality disorder.

At multi concept recovery (mcr), we provide a comprehensive intake assessment for both substance abuse and mental health disorders. This assessment tool is used and updated daily and continues throughout the client’s individualized treatment. People said to have co-occurring disorders (cod) have one or more disorders relating to the use of alcohol and/or other drugs of abuse as well as one or more mental disorders. We offer our clients hope and help by providing services to stabilize and control their symptoms. Once symptoms are reduced and manageable, confidence is restored and a stronger relapse prevention plan can be maintained.
